Graphics Applied started out by doing simple business card and letterhead design. Then, a tri-fold brochure job came along and a few more logo requests. Eventually - a web site development request was posed to GA. (All that was learned in school, in addition to intense training on Quark and Adobe tools, was some very basic HTML instruction.) "Now what do we do; turn down work?" We didn't think so.
The Internet and subsequent "WWW" was obviously becoming the newest and most widely used way of showcasing one's talents, of marketing them, and in some cases, of delivering them. GA also, and most certainly, couldn't offer to build another's Internet presence without first learning and displaying its own. GA's web presence was consequently established in February of 1998. (It was also one heck-of-a learning experience and a true eye-opener!)
We, at Graphics Applied, have gone on to do quite a bit of work, in many different fields. At this time, our Gallery is still going through some drastic changes as well as our Services page. In the meantime, if you have any comments or questions, please send them along to: www@graphicsapplied.com.
[Note: GA has become more of a sideline, than a true occupation. The "owner" has been a full time employee at another company, for most of the duration of this "business".
